LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team did not trail in defeating Lake Forest at home in the first meeting between the two programs.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine jumped ahead very early, scoring twice in under two minutes to open the game
• Colin Domek opened the scoring on a pass from Jordan Chock before Will Robinson made it 2-0 on a pass from Thomas Tillett
• Lake Forest was able to tie the game before the end of the quarter
• Chock set up Joe Spahn to open the scoring in the second quarter as Benedictine rolled off eight straight goals, leading 8-4 at halftime and 12-4 midway through the third
• Benedictine scored eight goals in the third to put the game out of reach

STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine ripped 54 shots in the contest and picked up 44 groundballs while winning 20 faceoffs
• Domek scored six goals and added an assist while Tillett notched four goals and four assists
• Chock added three goals and two assists
• Seven players scored a goal and nine tallied a point
• James McDonald made eight saves in goal
• Aidan McGowen won 17 faceoffs and picked up 11 groundballs
