FOND du LAC, WI - The Benedictine University men's volleyball team wrapped up a first round bye in the conference tournament by opening a weekend of road contests with a sweep of Marian.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine did not trail in the opening set, grabbing a 3-1 lead on kills from Tim Folliard, Chase Olson and Cooper Armstrong
- Folliard opened a run of four straight points with a kill as Benedictine led 14-8
- Three consecutive points at the end closed the set
- Jacob Grygo opened the second set with a kill as Benedictine tallied the first three points and did not trail
- Martin Radomski put down a kill to make the score 10-4
- Benedictine trailed for most of the early parts of the third before notching four straight which included a pair of blocks to make the score 12-11
- Marian hung around but a Logan Fuglestad kill ended the match
- Benedictine hit .439 for the match including a .519 mark in the first
