- In a close contest, Domek opened a run of four straight as Benedictine led 7-3 and held an 8-4 lead at the break on a
Jordan Chock goal just before the half
- Aurora kept Benedictine off the board in the third quarter, tying the game before back-to-back goals early int he fourth put the hosts up 10-8
- Chock and Domek scored less than two minutes apart to tie the score
- Will Robinson put Benedictine in front 11-10 at the 7:57 mark of the fourth
- Benedictine responded to two goals from Aurora and tied the game twice on goals from Robinson, forcing overtime with 2:33 left
- Aurora scored the winning goal in the second overtime at the 2:30 mark
