LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team capped a busy week with a win, splitting a pair of games with Concordia Wisconsin.

GAME ONE DETAILS
• Concordia Wisconsin used a pair of homers to open a 3-1 lead in the opener and added two in the fifth to lead 5-1
• Benedictine scored three times in the bottom of the fifth but stranded the tying run at third
• Chase Hanselman tripled home all three runs
• Benedictine had runners on base in each of the next three innings but could not tie the game, stranding eight
GAME ONE STATS
• Justin Sosa worked five innings, striking out five, but suffered the loss
• Andrew Kurcz kept the visitors at bay the rest of the way, tossing the final four innings without allowing a hit to give Benedictine a chance
• Cole Wilson finished with three hits

GAME TWO DETAILS
• Benedictine again had to play from behind again in the second contest as Concordia Wisconsin scored in the top of the first
• Andrew Tenison singled home a run in the fourth to tie the contest
• Benedictine broke open the game with four runs in the fifth
• Concordia Wisconsin scored a run in the seventh but left the bases loaded
• Benedictine ended the game with seven runs in the eighth
• The last three runs all scored on wild pitches
GAME TWO LEADERS
• Dudzinski tossed 6.2 innings , allowing two runs while striking out seven
• Simon Herold made the most of his second appearance of the week, earning the save by tossing the final 1.1
• Benedictine finished with 10 hits in the game
• Tenison finished with three hits
• Wilson scored three times and drove home two while Doubek scored twice
