MEQUON, WI - The Benedictine University baseball team was eliminated from the NACC Tournament, dropping a 7-1 decision to Aurora.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine left two on base in the first but scored the first run of the game in the second
- Alex Cameron singled and moved to third on a Kyle Williams single
- Sam Tickel knocked home the lone run with a sacrifice fly
- The lead held until the fifth when Aurora plated five runs, threeof which were unearned

STAT LEADERS
- Benedictine finished with 12 hits but stranded 14 on the bases
- Carlson finished with three hits
- Ryan Doubek, Damen Castillo and Kevin Bushnell picked up two apiece
- Justin Sosa struck out nine in six innings but suffered the loss, allowing just three earned runs
- Simon Herold worked the final two frames

RECORD
Benedictine closed the season at 26-14 and will wait to see if they are selected for the NCAA Regional field. The team was ranked fourth in the latest regional rankings.
