After rallying from down double figures in the first half, the Benedictine University men's basketball team fell short on free throws from Aurora with just .4 to play in a 57-55 road loss on Tuesday night.
Cullen Cosme capped the comeback with a layup to tie the score with just over a minute left but Benedictine missed a driving layup in the closing seconds before Aurora raced the length of the floor and drew a foul.
Trevor Montiel finished with 18 points while
Nick Kosich contributed 10.
Marvin Agwomoh grabbed 11 boards as Benedictine finished +5 on the glass.
