The Benedictine University women's volleyball team kicked off a stretch of three consecutive road contests by dropping a four-set decision at Carroll in non-conference play to end a three-match win streak. Benedictine dropped the first two sets and managed just three kills in the opening set.
Olivia McPherson posted nine kills and added four aces.
Amelia Owolabi also logged nine kills to go with three blocks.
Kiara McPherson distributed 23 assists while
Courtney Levy paced the defense with 18 digs.
Benedictine (9-8) plays at Rockford on Thursday night.
