The Benedictine University football team ended the season with a 24-0 loss to St. Norbert on the road in the season finale.
St. Norbert took the lead with a field goal on the opening drive to cap a 13-play drive. The hosts scored their first touchdown early in the second quarter and led 10-0 at halftime. Two touchdowns in the fourth quarter sealed the win including a touchdown late following an interception.
Benedictine allowed only 319 yards but gained just 224 in the loss, turning the ball over four times.
Brian Pritt closed his record season with two sacks and a pair of forced fumbles.
Nick Shelton caught four passes for 50 yards.
Evan Wydajewski threw for 137 yards while
Nathan Rillo caught three passes and rushed four times for 30 yards while also completing a pass.
Gessie Escudero,
Jack Hayden and
Sergio Ayala all led the defense with eight tackles.
Benedictine concluded the season with a 5-4 record and a 5-3 mark in conference play.
