Brianna Lake posted a monster performance but the offense slowed down in the second half as the Benedictine University women's basketball team dropped a 52-50 decision at Concordia Chicago on Wednesday. Lake finished with 14 points and 15 rebounds in the defeat.
Sierra Skack came off the bench to lead Benedictine with 15 points. Benedictine held a 49-37 edge on the glass but shot just 27 percent from the floor and 26 percent from beyond the arc.
Makenzie Carroll reeled in 10 rebounds while dishing five assists. The game featured five ties and five lead changes. The bench finished the contest with 22 points.
