Ryan Doubek drove home a run with a fielder's choice while another scored on an error. Four runs in the eighth left no doubt.
Andrew Tenison singled home two,
Alex Cameron logged an RBI single and an error capped the frame. Benedictine finished with 11 hits as Tenison,
Peter Turelli and
Kevin Bushnell all posted a pair. The pitching staff finished with 15 strikeouts as Dan Dombrowksi and
Nick Shelton both worked a scoreless inning striking out a pair. The win marked the 150th for head coach
Adam Smith at Benedictine. Smith is in his eighth season at Benedictine.
