The Benedictine University baseball team limited Wheaton to just two hits in grabbing an 11-1 non-conference win under the lights on the road, a fifth consecutive victory.
Benedictine scored a pair of runs in the top of the first and the pitching staff did the rest.
Brennan Fisher and
Cole Wilson both tallied RBI singles in the first.
Eddie Wilson went on to throw seven innings and allowed just one run while striking out seven.
Anthony Baturin tossed the final two frames. The offense broke open the contest by scoring six runs in the seventh. The offense finished with 12 hits.
Ryan Doubek totaled three out of the leadoff slot and scored three times.
Logan Gregorio drove home three and recorded two hits along with Wilson.
Benedictine (23-9) hosts Concordia Chicago in a conference double on Saturday.
