The Benedictine University softball team saw the season come to an end with a 2-0 loss to MSOE on Friday morning in the NACC Tournament.
The lone runs of the contest came on a two-run homer for MSOE in the fourth. Benedictine managed only one hit, an infield single from
Colleen Schmit.
Alexandra Loizon took the hard luck loss, allowing just the two runs in a six-inning complete game. Benedictine brought the tying run to the plate in the seventh but could not come through.
