The Benedictine University women's soccer team held a 1-0 lead at the half but allowed three second half tallies in suffering a 3-2 loss to visiting Webster in the final non-conference contest of the year.
Xitlali Sanchez opened the scoring in the eighth minute of the contest, poking home a feed from Kaitlyn Knudson. Webster scored a pair of goals less than 10 minutes apart to take the lead. Knudson scored the final goal in the closing seconds. Benedictine finished with 11 shots, five of which were on goal.
Katherine Prochnow stopped five shots in net.
Benedictine (0-3-1) opens conference play at home on Wednesday night against Concordia Wisconsin.
