The Benedictine University men's soccer team dropped a one-goal decision to Dominican at home on Wednesday night. Following a blank opening 45 minutes, Dominican netted the match's first goal in the 51st minute. After mounting very little on offense against the Dominican back line, Mark Szklarcyk poked home a corner kick to tie the score in the 74th minute but Dominican scored the winner with under five minutes left to tally the conference decision. Benedictine managed just four shots in the loss.
Mateo Reyes stopped seven shots in net.
Benedictine (1-5-1, 0-2-1 NACC) travels to Lakeland on Saturday.
