The Benedictine University women's soccer team scored five goals in the first 52 minutes to cruise to a conference win on the road at Lakeland University on Saturday. Benedictine posted 28 shots in the victory. The first goal came in the 21st minute and Benedictine tallied four goals in a 23 minute span to lead 4-0 at halftime.
Olivia McPherson scored a pair of goals with
Kailyn Knudson,
Kiara McPherson and
Kaya Dreger also finding the back of the net.
Jocelyn Ybarra posted a pair of assists in the win.
Katherine Prochnow stopped four shots in 72 minutes of action.
Benedictine (2-5-1, 2-2 NACC) hosts Edgewood on Wednesday.
