The first complete set of regional rankings was released by the NCAA on Wednesday and the Benedictine University baseball team is sitting fourth in Region VIII.

Owning a record of 27-9, Benedictine has secured a berth in the NACC Tournament, which they will host, and will conclude the regular season this weekend. The team visits Rockford at 3pm tomorrow and hosts North Park on Sunday afternoon. North Park is currently ranked seventh in the region. Benedictine swept sixth-ranked Aurora and also owns a win over third ranked Millikin.

Benedictine is currently ranked 18th by D3baseball.com and 24th by the ABCA.
