The Benedictine University baseball team opened play in the NACC Tournament by recording an 11-6 win over Rockford.
Brennan Fisher and
David Rubin both homered in the game. Fisher, Rubin and
George Betevis all drove home three runs.
Conner Kendall twirled six innings to grab his sixth win of the year, striking out seven. dan Dombrowski logged the final three innings for his second save, striking out three.
Benedictine (29-11) will face Aurora at 10am on Friday morning in a schedule change due to weather.
