The Benedictine University men's soccer team opened 2024 by shutting out Eureka on the road. The team controlled the first half, holding a 12-1 advantage in shots but managed just one goal on a tally from
Berto Castillo in the 30 minute. Castillo set up
Manny Casillas in the 58th minute and Benedictine closed out the win with a 79th minute marker from
Chris Reynoso. Benedictine posted 16 shots in the win.
Jordan Rolon made seven saves in the blank sheet.
Benedictine opens the home schedule on Sunday night at 5pm against North Park.
