The Benedictine University women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of visiting Lake Forest under the lights on Wednesday.
The teams played 45 minutes of scoreless soccer in the first half with both clubs concentrating on possession. Lake Forest scored the first goal early in the second half and added another 10 minutes later before sealing the game with a late tally.
Benedictine managed five shots, four of which were on goal.
Kailyn Knudson tallied a pair of shots.
Katherine Prochnow made nine saves in net in the loss.
Benedictine (0-4-1) visits Grinnell on Saturday.
