Women's Basketball Splits in St. Louis

The Benedictine University women's basketball team bounced back from their first defeat of the season to take down Rose-Hulman and win the consolation game at the McWilliams Classic hosted by WashU.

Benedictine led for most of the game
- Megan Duzansky opened the game with a layup
- Benedictine led by as many as eight points in the opening 10 minutes of action
- Rose-Hulman continually clawed back into the game and after trailing by 11 in the second on a three from Shiane Johnson came back to within two at the break
- Benedictine again pushed the lead to within eight in the third quarter and led 49-40 headed to the fourth
- The lead in the fourth quarter reached 13 and was still at 11 with 3:30 left as Benedictine held off a comeback to nab the win

- Benedictine accumulated 26 points in the paint and 15 off turnovers
- Allison Jarvis led all scorers with 17
