The Benedictine University baseball team finished their trip to Florida by downing Western New England 15-8 to cap the trip with a 5-3 record.
George Betevis had a huge day. Benedictine opened the scoring with five runs in the second inning. Betevis homered twice, finished with four hits and drove home five.
JT Adams struck out seven in six innings to earn the win.
Steven Byrne logged the final 2.2 to notch his second save.
Benedictine (6-4) will play three games at Millikin this weekend.
