After batting .632 over five games,
Mike Budorick of the Benedictine University baseball team was honored as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Week.
Budorick finished 12-for-19 at the plate with three homers and 11 RBIs to go along with three doubles and seven runs scored. Budorick also was hit by a pitch twice and walked in addition to swiping a base. The deignated hitter hit safely in all five games and tallied multiple hits in four of the contests as Benedictine finished 4-1.
Benedictine visits Wisconsin Lutheran today for two games.

Zach Slome (Schaumburg, Ill.) have been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 7-13, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Pitcher --- Zach Slome, Sr., RHP, Concordia University Wisconsin
Slome, a senior right-handed pitcher, had a dominant performance against Aurora on April 12. He held the Spartans to only two hits over seven innings while striking out five in the victory.
Position Player --- Mike Budorick, Jr., OF, Benedictine University
Budorick, a junior outfielder, hit .632 as the Benedictine offense erupted for four conference wins as part of a 4-1 week overall. He finished 12-of-19 at the plate with three home runs, three doubles, seven runs scored, and 11 runs batted in. Budorick slugged 1.263 with a .682 on-base percentage. He also added a stolen base, drew a walk, was hit by a pair of pitches. Budorick hit safely in every game, recording multiple hits in all four NACC contests. He finished 4-for-4 with a double, a home run, and five RBIs in an 18-0 game two win over Dominican. Budorick reached base eight times in nine plate appearances against the Stars, including a home run and a double in each end of the doubleheader.
