Zach Fell of the Benedictine University baseball team received Academic All-District honors for success on the field and in the classroom.
In order to be nominated
student-athletes must be at least sophomores both academically and athletically and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50. Position players must have participated in at least 90 percent of their team's games or started at least 66 percent.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Fisher and Castrovillari are moving on to the Academic All-American ballot.Â
