The Benedictine University men's basketball team sent their three seniors out in style by capping a perfect week with a win over Edgewood in the final home contest of the season.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine got off to a slow start as Edgewood tallied the first seven points 
- A free throw from Connor Glasgow put Benedictine on the board at the 16:16 left in the half
- Ryan Sammons tied the game at 9-9 with a layup at the 12:45 mark
- The visitors scored seven more to again take the advantage
- Benedictine took the lead for the first time at 24-22 on a three from Sammons with 4:11 to play in the first
- Edgewood countered again and held a 28-27 lead at the half
- Noah Mason netted the first points of the second half to put Benedictine ahead
- A 12-0 run allowed Benedictine to take the lead for good at 43-34 with 13:42 remaining
- Edgewood was able to hang close, but Benedictine stretched the margin to double figures and closed out the win

STAT LEADERS
- Mason had another outstanding performance, finishing with a game best 29 points while adding 13 rebounds
- Sammons tacked on 14 and Ryan Tucker added 13 off the bench in the win with Glasgow grabbing 10 boards
- Benedictine held a 40-37 edge on the glass and shot 46.4 percent in the contest, blistering the nets at 60.7 percent in the second half
