Noah Mason scored 28 points bu the Benedictine University men's basketball team saw a two-game win streak end on the road at Marian on Saturday afternoon.

THE DETAILS
- Brandon McCoy opened the game with a three-pointer on the first possession and Benedictine led for more than six minutes at the start of the game
- Marian scored 14 straight to take the lead, holding a 17-9 edge with 10:58 to go in the opening half
- The advantage grew to double figures at at 32-20 with 4:31 left but Benedictine closed the half with seven straight, six of which came from Mason
- Benedictine rallied in the second half, taking the lead at 46-44 on a Connor Glasgow jumper with 13:10 remaining
- The hosts slowly started to pull away, again leading by double digits with 4:24 left

STAT LEADERS
- Mason finished 10-of-13 from the floor and added seven boards to go with five assists
- Glasgow was the only other player to hit double digits, notching 10
- Benedictine shot 42.3 percent in the game but was just 3-23 from three-point range
