The Benedictine University baseball team pitched past Worcester State on Sunday morning in Florida.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine grabbed the lead in the top of the first inning
- Hank Friedrich led off the game with a double and moved to third on a wild pitch
- Spencer Geake put Benedictine ahead with an RBI groundout
- Worcester State evened the game in the bottom of the third 
- Benedictine jumped ahead again in the top of the fourth
- Justin Nonnenmann walked and then stole second and third
- With two away Preston Popovich legged out an infield hit to make the score 2-1
- An insurance run scored in the seventh

- Braden Behrens did not allow an earned run in seven innings, allowing just six hits while walking one and striking out seven
- Luke Hickey worked the final two innings, striking out three to notch the save
- Five different individuals posted hits in the game
- Castrovillari reached three times by drawing a pair of walks
- Kaminsky also walked twice to reach three times
- Benedictine is 5-2 on the journey with one game remaining
