The Benedictine University baseball team opened their annual Florida Spring Break trip with a win over Husson on Sunday.

Matt Santarelli reached base on an error
- Husson scored a pair of runs in the fifth to draw within 5-3 but Benedictine broke the game open with a five-run seventh
- Castrovillari posted an RBI single in the frame with Budorick singling home two
- Two more runs scored on an error during a double steal as the lead grew to 9-2
