Owen Johnson was selected as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

Johnson helped Benedictine to a pair of key conference victories. The sophomore matched a career high with 19 saves against Illinois Tech and added 11 against Lawrence.

Benedictine (11-4, 7-3) has secured a conference tournament slot and can be anywhere from the third through the sixth seed. The regular season ends today at Aurora.
