Meyerchick joins the Benedictine staff for the 2016 season.
Meyerchick pitched at Saint Joseph’s College in Indiana from 2008-2012 and holds the record for most career starts. Meyerchick also ranks third in victories and strikeouts as well as fourth in innings.
After graduating in 2012 with a degree in Business Administration, Meyerchick was signed as a free agent by the Arizona Diamondbacks and spent two years with the organization, making nearly 40 relief appearances.
Following his playing career, Meyerchick joined the coaching staff at Webster University, a perennial NCAA Division III power. Webster won a regional title in 2014 and participated in the College World Series. The pitching staff was ranked in the top-25 in ERA and strikeouts last year.
