2008: First campaign with the Benedictine program ... Northern Athletics Conference Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Elk Grove (2008) … Coached by Tom Whalen … All-area honorable mention as a senior … Earned a Daily Herald “Player of the Week” award his senior campaign … Played baseball as well.

PERSONAL: Son of Gerald Bathauer and Mary Campanile … has three siblings... aspires to become a fire fighter-paramedic... favorite athlete is Jake "Shotime" Simonovich... the thing he will miss most about BenU is weekend breakfasts talking about the previous night... favorite sports team is the BenU Eagles... best memory of BenU is meeting Matt Brown... enjoys demon hunting, wandering aimlessly and commanding his fleet of ships.. goal for the 2011 season is to win conference.
