McCaslin was selected as the 29th head coach in Benedictine history in April of 2018 and will begin his first season at the helm in 2018.

McCASLIN'S COACHING PROFILE
• Owns three decades of experience at a wide variety of levels with a diverse range of roles
• Arrived at Benedictine following two years at the University of Buffalo
• Worked as the defensive coordinator for two years at Eastern Michigan University
• Also served as defensive coordinator at Drake University
• Logged 14 years of experience at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, working up from a graduate assistant to ending as assistant head coach and defensive coordinator
• Other roles at Nebraska-Omaha included defensive line coach, video coordinator, recruiting coordinator and special teams coordinator

CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Part of 15 winning seasons and an overall record of 127-77
• Coached seven conference championship teams
• 2007 Nebraska-Omaha team finished the regular season unbeaten with the 2000 team posting a 10-1 mark
• Five players have gone on to play professionally
• Worked with a pair of All-Americans
• Helped guide 20 first or second team all-conference players
