A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Battle joined the Benedictine staff in 2017 to work with the safeties.
Prior to joining Benedictine, Battle coached at Morehead State University and Eastern Kentucky University. Battle worked with the cornerbacks at Morehead State and doubled as the equipment manager. While at Eastern Kentucky, Battle served as the defensive quality control coach.
Battle played in four Bowl Games and won four conference titles as a player at Cincinnati, playing at cornerback.
