Cooper enters his second season on the Benedictine staff in 2015, working with the defensive backs. In addition, the Chicago resident serves as the special teams and video coordinator.
Cooper joined the staff in 2014 and was promoted to his current role following his first season. Cooper arrived at Benedictine after coaching at the College of DuPage and working with wide receivers and tight ends along with serving as the co-special teams coordinator and handling video and technology.
Cooper's other collegiate stops include North Park University, Western State Colorado University, and Colorado State Pueblo. The Denver, Colo. native also spent time cocahing in the high school ranks in his native state.
Cooper attended the University of San Diego before receiving his degree from New Mexico Highlands University in finance.
Cooper and his wife, Peju, have four children, two boys, and two girls.
