Biography

2009: Played and started in all 10 games as a junior in 2009… Was named Second Team All-Conference… Had one interception for 29 yards… Led the team with 7.5 sacks… Had a game high 2.5 sacs against North Park (9/19)… Twice had a game high 2.5 tackles for loss against Aurora (10/3) and against Lakeland (10/24).

2008: Second season with the Eagles ... Appeared in seven games ... Nine tackles (six solo).

2007: Two varsity appearances as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two varsity seasons at Niles West (2007) … His coach was Curtis Tate … All-conference as a senior … Also participated in track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Jeff Kleppin and Laura Lyon … Has one older brother and four younger sisters … favorite sports team is the Minnesota Vikings... favorite athlete is Adrian Peterson... enjoys watching movies, watching TV and competing... favorite thing to do at BenU is hang out in Thomas 1103.
