2007: Illini-Badger Football Conference honorable mention ... 31 tackles (21 solo) ... 4.5 tackles for loss ... One sack for minus-eight yards ... One pass break-up ... Two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

2006: An outstanding freshman season ... Was team’s Co-Defensive “Rookie of the Year” ... 33 tackles (14 solo) ... 6.0 tackles for loss (minus-32 yards) ... 3.5 sacks for minus-27 yards ... One pass break-up, two quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

HIGH SCHOOL: An alumnus of Sycamore (2006) … Joe Ryan was his coach … All-Western Sun Conference as a junior … Also participated in track and field, where he twice earned all-conference honors.

PERSONAL: Son of Scott and Michelle Schulz … Has one sister … Enjoys fishing and basketball in spare time … Involved in Benedictine’s Democracy Matters and the Political Science Student Association ... A political science major and economics minor.
