2008: All-Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) second team ... NAC All-Rookie Team ... Twice NAC “Student-Athlete of the Week” (March 31 and April 14) ... NAC Scholar-Athlete ... Led Eagles in virtually all pitching categories ... No-hitter versus Maranatha Baptist on April 4 ... In NAC game statistics, ranked among league leaders in earned run average (4th/1.53), wins (4th/11), strikeouts per game (9th/4.34), appearances (5th/17), starts (5th/17) and opponent average (6th/.222).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Kaneland (2007) ... Coach was Dennis Hansen ... All-conference as a sophomore ... Helped team to league title as a sophomore ... Earned team’s “Most Improved” award ... Also played tennis ... Four years on Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Glenn and Missy Carnell ... Has one younger brother ...  Competed for the Northern Illinois Thunder for five years and the Elgin Heat for three years ... Enjoys drawing in spare time ... Volunteers at the Morton Arboretum ... A marketing major.
