A graduate of Judson University, Thomas joins the women's basketball staff for the 2017-18 season.
Thomas is a practice player for the Windy City Bulls and has worked as a high school varsity assistant at St. Francis and most recently Providence Catholic. St. Francis won a regional title in 2016 and Providence claimed a regional title in 2017. Thomas also owns extensive experience at the AAU level, serving as the head coach of the Chicago Lockdown.
Thomas opened his playing and coaching career at the College of DuPage. While at DuPage, Thomas was a two-time first team all-conference and all-region selection in addition to earning MVP on two occasions. Thomas was a preseason All-American in 2009-10 and was named to the 2009 national tournament first team. The on-court success continued at Judson with an honorable mention All-American selection.
The Lemont, IL resident currently serves as the on site manager for Elite Logisitc Service.
