Todd Zasadil enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Eagles in 2025-26. He is the position coach for wings & forwards on the squad, and has coached an All-NACC honoree in each of his seasons on the staff, most recently freshman wing Hailey Bachmann. In addition to opponent scouting, 'Coach Z' is responsible for advanced statistics and strategy, and is the primary recruiter for junior college prospects.
Zasadil came to Benedictine after an extensive and highly successful stretch at Saint Viator High School (Arlington Heights, IL), where he was an assistant coach and helped the program achieve win six IHSA regional championships and one sectional championship. At Saint Viator, he helped athletes gain honors for All-Conference (8), All-Area (22), and All-State (1).
No stranger to the collegiate ranks, Zasadil was the assistant coach at Chicago area Harper College from 2013-2015. At Harper, he was charged with leading the program's defense. The Hawks' defensive points per game dropped 7 points, and their win total increased by 6 from the year prior to his arrival.
Off the court, Zasadil co-hosts the accomplished After the Timeout Podcast, where he has interviewed top coaches in the area and around the country, including Kelly Graves (University of Oregon), and Mike Neighbors (University of Arkansas).
Zasadil received his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from North Central College.
