Ronni Kluener joins the Benedictine University women’s lacrosse coaching staff beginning in 2014. Previously, she served as Head Coach at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville for three seasons, where she led the team to top 10 in state finishes in all three years. In addition, all of her teams made appearances in the IHSWLA State Series, as she produced multiple All-State recognized players and guided athletes to NCAA play in divisions I, II & III.
Prior to her time at Neuqua, Kluener was an Assistant Coach at Lindenwood University in St Charles, Missouri. At Lindenwood, she worked for a high-level program that finished the 2010 season with a record of 21-4.
Kluener has also served as the club director at Players Indoor Sports Center, and most recently, the Head Coach for the Players 360 Youth Select Team. In addition to her work with the lacrosse teams at Players, she is the Program/Event & Marketing Director for all sports, including the Indian Prairie Showdown and Field of Screams lacrosse tournaments.
Originally from Naperville, Kluener played varsity at Neuqua Valley (2001-2005) before heading to Wittenberg University (Springfield, OH) as an attacker (2005-2009). She is excited to be able to grow the game at this level so near her hometown and can't wait to help to get Benedictine on the map in the Women's Lacrosse community.
