MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Benedictine University softball team remained undefeated in the Northern Athletics Conference with a sweep over Alverno College on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles won 7-0, 6-0.
Sam Corban allowed just three hits and had four strikeouts in the 7-0 victory. At the plate, she was 3-3 with a run while
Brittany Wolski was 2-4 and
Kelly Mieszala was 3-3 with a double and three RBI.
Kara Walsh had her first homerun of the season.
In game two,
Brittany Adcox gave up just one hit and had 10 strikeouts in the shutout. Wolski and Corban were a perfect 3-3 at the plate and Walsh was 2-4.
Laura Christensen was 2-3 with a triple and two RBI.
The Eagles (16-4, 6-0) are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they host Dominican University for a 12:00 p.m. doubleheader at the Sports Complex.
