MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Benedictine University softball team advanced to the Northern Athletics Conference championship with a 4-1 win over Aurora University on Saturday morning. The Eagles take on the Spartans again at 1:00 p.m. for the NAC championship and a bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Brittany Adcox received the win against the Spartans, allowing just three hits and zero earned runs with three strikeouts. At the plate, the Eagles tallied four hits including a homerun from Brittany Wolski to lead off the game.

Benedictine tallied a total of three runs in the first after Wolski's solo shot to left. Aurora cut the BenU lead with a run in the sixth but the Eagles answered right back with another run in the bottom of the frame to take home the 4-1 win.

Benedictine takes on Aurora at 1:00 p.m. for the NAC Championship. If the Eagles lose, they will play Aurora again at 3:00 p.m.
