Benedictine On Deck: Week of October 1

FOOTBALL
Following a tough defeat in the conference opener to Concordia Wisconsin, the Benedictine University football team takes to the road on Saturday afternoon for a date with rival Aurora University. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. The Eagles (2-2, 0-1) will look for its fourth consecutive victory over Aurora. The two teams have traditionally battled for slots in the top half of the conference.

VOLLEYBALL
The conference season heats up this week for volleyball with three matches. Benedictine is presently the lone unbeaten team in the conference at 5-0. MSOE visits the Rice Center on Tuesday night in the lone home contest of the week commencing at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles hits the road for a pair of matches in Wisconsin this weekend, visiting Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Maranatha on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

MEN'S SOCCER
Attempting to bounce back from consecutive conference defeats, the men's soccer team travels twice this week. Benedictine will face nationally ranked and conference leading Dominican University on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Another afternoon conference matchup awaits on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Wisconsin against Concordia Wisconsin.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Finishing a brief two-game stint in front of the home fans at the Sports Complex, women's soccer will welcome Aurora University at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Presently part of a three-way tie for fourth in the conference, the Eagles will travel to Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The host Falcons are currently in second in the conference.

CROSS COUNTRY
With just three weeks remaining until the conference meet in Wisconsin, Benedictine University will host its lone home meet of the season on Friday afternoon.The meet will take place in Warrenville with the women taking off at 4:00 p.m. and the men to follow at 4:45.

WOMEN'S TENNIS
The regular season wraps up on Tuesday afternoon at North Central in a 4:00 p.m. contest. The conference individual tournament will be this weekend.

MEN'S GOLF
The regular season portion of the fall slate is rapidly winding down for the men's golf team. Benedictine will host its second event of the fall on Sunday in Woodridge.
