SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - With a sweep of Lakeland College, the Benedictine University softball team earned their third straight Northern Athletics Conference title on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles ended the regular season with a 30-9 overall record and a 22-2 conference mark after sweeping Lakeland College on Sunday.
Brittany Adcox tallied both of the wins against LC as BenU defeated the Muskies 4-0 in game one and then 10-2 in the nightcap.
Kelly Mieszala was 5-8 on the day with two doubles while
Brittany Wolski's hit-streak continued as she tallied three hits on the day.
The Northern Athletics Conference Tournament begins on Thursday, May 3 when #5 Lakeland takes on #4 Marian at 3:00 pm. At 5:00 pm #6 Dominican plays #3 Concordia-Wisconsin.
The Eagles will play the winner of the Lakeland-Marian game at 9:00 am on Friday, May 4. All games are being played at Alverno Field in Milwaukee, Wis.
