Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Benedictine softball added two more wins on Saturday at the Sports Complex, defeating Northern Athletics Conference foe Marian at 8-0 and 7-0. The team is now 18-4 in conference play and 22-10 on the season.

In game one, Melissa Guzior moved to 11-5 on the season in the circle, holding the Marian to just four hits. BenU's offense was pretty quiet through five innings, but in the sixth, BenU erupted for six runs. Erin Kotlarz went 4-for-4 while Kailee Cable and Kelly Mieszala had to RBI apiece.

The strong pitching continued for the Eagles in game two, as Ashley Parrott held Marian scoreless to move to a perfect 5-0 in the circle on the season. Offensively, Alex Daviera went 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI, and Melissa Stoch was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Chelsea White added to RBI in the leadoff spot as well.

Benedictine takes the field again on Sunday, when Lakeland travels to Lisle for a doubleheader. The two games are the final contests for Benedictine this season before the NAC Tournament.
