MEQUON, Wis. - The Benedictine University baseball team matched a school record for wins in a season with a 5-0 shutout of Aurora in the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament on Friday.

Kevin Hendricks was hit by a pitch and
John Cervantes put Benedictine ahead with a double to deep left-center.
Mike Luschen extended the lead to 2-0 with two outs on an infield single.
Cashman was on cruise control after allowing a leadoff single, the righty retired 13 in a row and faced the minimum over five straight frames. Cashman threw eight blank innings and allowed just three hits with a walk and three strikeouts.
Benedictine added single runs in the second, fourth, sixth to account for the final margin.
Kevin Hendricks finished 3-for-4 while Karakosta, Cervantes, and Luschen posted two apiece. Cervantes drove home two runs. The shutout marked the fifth of the season for Benedictine and the second for Cashman.
Benedictine (32-8) will face top seeded Concordia Chicago on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. for a slot in the conference championship game. The Eagles swept the Cougars earlier this season.
