The Eagles came back in the third set to win convincingly 25-15. Highlighted by another run of seven straight points, the Eagles build a 15-6 lead and never looked back, recording a .385 hitting percentage for the set.
Set number for was tightly contested, as no team led by more than three points throughout. Rockford had the set's largest lead at 20-17, but Benedictine scored four straight points capped off by a
Molly Morley kill to take a 21-20 lead. Rockford would come right back to take the lead, however, and the teams would exchange points until it was 25-25. Benedictine scored on a Rockford attack error and a kill from
Erin Wiegand to earn the 27-25 set four victory.
Statistically, Weigand led the way for the Eagles with 18 kills, while
Keriann Groen chipped in 10 of her own. A pair of seniors,
