Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The third time was the charm for the Benedictine University softball team as the Eagles were finally able to play a non-conference doubleheader with Elmhurst.

Benedictine ran their win streak to four with a 7-1 win and a 4-3 extra-inning triumph. Erin Kotlarz was the hero in game two, posting a two-run single to end the game. Kotlarz finished 4-for-4 in the opener as well. Chelsea White tallied three hits in game two.

Benedictine (23-11) continues the second game of Monday's doubleheader on Wednesday at Dominican. The Eagles held a 1-0 lead in the second when play was suspended.
