AURORA, Ill. - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 decision at Aurora on Wednesday afternoon.

Benedictine did not score in the first half, trailing 6-0. Down 9-0, Robert Abbott put Benedictine on the board with back-to-back tallies. Abbott finished with three goals in the contest. Stephen Link added two. Benedictine totaled 29 shots in the defeat. Jeffrey Smitheram made 11 saves in goal.

Benedictine (9-6, 5-4) hosts Fontbonne on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the season finale.
