Box Score LISLE, Ill. – The Benedictine University baseball team was knocked off 11-1 in a tough battle with Wheaton College on the road Tuesday.
The Eagles had a rough battle with Wheaton College on the turf field at Pfund Stadium. Wheaton College scored seven runs off of starter 
Nick Diessner in only 4.1 innings of work.
With one out in the sixth, 
Ryan Mullin doubled to left center, and eventually made his way to home on 
Max Oppenheimer's single to right field for the game's lone run. 
Spencer Lehmann looked impressive in relief, allowing just one hit while striking out a pair in 1.2 innings.
The Eagles only totaled six hits as a team, two came from Mullin. 
Steve Yeater recorded his first ever varsity hit in the contest.
The Eagles (20-15) will look to get even with Wheaton College (20-16) tomorrow in a rematch at the Sports Complex at 6:00 p.m.
