Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 In the second day of the Augustana College Viking Classic, the Benedictine University volleyball team was defeated in three sets by Hamline University (11-25, 24-26, 21-25) and dropped a four-set match to University of Wisconsin-River Falls (25-18, 23-25, 15-25, 12-25).

In the first match, Abby Screnock led BenU (1-2) with 20 assists, four kills, two aces and eight digs while Beckie Whitmarsh tallied seven kills and seven digs. Erin Wiegand recorded seven kills and Andraia Leja had eight digs.

Keriann Groen and Whitmarsh both tallied eight kills in the second match against UW-River Falls. Screnock recorded 21 assists and nine digs while Leja and Vanessa Possidoni had 13 digs each. Caitlyn Martin tallied eight digs and two aces.

Benedictine is back in action on September 3 when they take on Elmhurst College and University of Chicago.
